Used Allied for all my machine work while restoring a 1967 Mercedes Benz 230SL. Allied bored the block to .50mm oversized and fitted all new pistons, rings, wrist pins and bushings. The crank was reground and balanced with the flywheel and the cranks were rebuilt balanced and fitted with all new crank bearings. Main bearings were also replaced. Allied also did all the valve replacement and the regrinding of valve seats and guides. I did all the assembly once the head and short block were completed by Allied. I was extremely happy with their work, promptness, and price. Would highly recommend them! 10/8/2017 ... George D.
